A FREE service from Herzing University! Our Alumni Support Specialists will work to help federal student loan recipients successfully navigate the process of repaying their student loans. We do our best to:
- Remind you when your loan is going into repayment after you leave school
- Assist you in getting payment amounts lowered if they are too high
- Provide options for postponing payments if you become unable to make them
- Provide information so you can contact your lender
- Answer any questions you may have about student loan repayment
Keeping the communication lines open between you and our Alumni Support Center will make it easier for us to help you reap these benefits:
- Save money on late fees, collection costs, higher interest rates
- Preserve eligibility for federal student financial aid
- Maintain your credit history

Many student loans are being moved to new servicing agencies such as: Aspire Resources, Granite State, CornerStone, ESA/Edfinancial, Sallie Mae, Nelnet, Fedloan, MOHELA and Great Lakes. Watch for mail from them and visit http://www.nslds.ed.gov/nslds_SA/ to view your student loan details and make sure you don’t accidentally lose track of your student loans.
