Hands-on Experience

Classes are taught by industry experts who know first-hand the training today’s nurses need in order to provide the best patient care using advanced medical technology. You’ll utilize our high-tech medical labs to experience a variety of clinical skills in:

  • Adult health nursing
  • Family nursing including pediatrics and obstetrics
  • Mental health nursing
  • Community health nursing

The Program

The length of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program is nine semesters. The coursework will be offered in a full-time format only. Classes are held through each summer term for a total of 36 months.

Admissions Criteria

Those interested in applying to the Herzing University BSN program must have the following admissions requirements:

  1. High school completion or equivalent
  2. Prior medical training with patient interaction (examples include but are not limited to: Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, and LPN)
  3. Successful completion of the entrance evaluation within the minimum score established by the school for the Nursing program.

First Step: Come to a Testing Session

Interested students should call (763) 535-3000 to arrange attendance at an upcoming nursing testing session at the Minneapolis campus. During the Testing Session, you will take the TEAS test, which is the first step in applying to the program.
