Hands-on Experience

Classes are taught by nursing experts who know first-hand the training today’s nurses need in order to provide the best patient care using advanced healthcare technology. You will utilize our high-tech nursing learning laboratory and real world clinical experiences to gain a variety of clinical skills in areas such as:

  • Adult and geriatric nursing
  • Family nursing including pediatrics and obstetrics
  • Mental health nursing
  • Community health nursing

The Program

The length of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program is eight semesters. The coursework will be offered in a full-time format only. Classes are held through each summer term for a total of 32 months.

Admissions Criteria

Those interested in applying to the Herzing University BSN program must have the following admissions requirements:

  1. High school completion or equivalent
  2. Successful completion of the entrance evaluation within the minimum score established by the University for the Nursing program
  3. A completed application form and process with the Admissions Department and the Nursing Program Director
